The purpose of this site is to enable members of the public to gain access to convenient, confidential and cost effective EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy, and to help you decide whether to use Swift Counselling services.

It is not our intention to provide lots of information on EMDR as such. While we do give you a brief overview of what EMDR is about, if you want to know more, please log on to one or more of the many other websites that give far more detail, including its origins, how it has evolved, how it works, research evidence on its effectiveness, training and accreditation requirements and other related information.
